Public Speaking
Award-Winning Public Speaker in Sri Lanka
Public speaking is where most of this started, well before hosting or moderating became regular work — five years of building speeches for professional, institutional and public settings, tested on a competitive circuit before being taken to a client's stage.
Discuss your eventPublic speaking covers delivering speeches and spoken communication with clarity, confidence, presence and audience awareness — across professional, institutional and public settings. This is backed by more than five years of public speaking experience and an active competitive record through Toastmasters International.

What a booked session looks like
A keynote or speaking session is built the same way a contest speech is — structured, rehearsed, and edited for the specific room rather than delivered as a fixed script reused across venues. Legal-awareness sessions for school students draw on this directly: over 20 delivered to date, translating a formal topic into something an audience actually stays with.
Public Speaking
Answers before you book.
-
What kind of public speaking or keynote sessions do you deliver?
Speeches and spoken communication for professional, institutional and public settings — this ranges from keynote-style addresses to competitive speech formats, and draws on more than five years of public speaking experience.
-
Is this competitive speaking, professional speaking, or both?
Both. Competitive speaking has included Division-level first runner-up in the International Speech Contest for Toastmasters District 82 in 2024, and the Humorous Speech Contest championship at Torrington Toastmasters Club in 2023/24 — alongside professional speaking engagements delivered outside the contest circuit.
-
Can you speak on communication, public relations or debate as topics themselves?
Yes — these are areas of direct professional and leadership experience, including serving as Public Relations Chair for Toastmasters District 82 and Director of Debating for the KDU Mooting and Debating Society, which makes them workable as speaking topics in their own right rather than borrowed material.
